Successful Ofsted Visit for Rustington Community Primary
Rustington Community Primary, which joined Schoolsworks in 2013, has enjoyed a successful inspection from Ofsted. The inspection confirmed that the school is Good in all areas, including the quality of education and pupil’s development.
The report drew attention to the warm and supportive environment and inclusive ethos which the inspectors said created a joyful community in which pupils feel unique, special and valued.
The Ofsted team commented on the strong relationship between the school and the Trust noting that staff are provided with extensive professional development and feel well supported by dedicated and reflective leaders. Collaboration across the Trust was also said to be a strong asset to the work of the school.
The inspection, which took place in February 2025, also shared that:
- Pupils are welcoming, friendly and proud of their thriving school
- Expectations and ambitions are high and pupils achieve well
- The school has designed an ambitious curriculum
- Children settle happily in the well-resourced early years environment
- Pupils are polite, respectful and kind to each other, staff and visitors
- Parents and carers speak highly of the compassion and kindness shown by everyone
We are delighted that the inspectors recognised the hard work and dedication of the whole school community, and will continue to work closely with Rustington to build on this success.
As a Trust we remain focused on providing every child at the schools we work with the best possible start to their education. We’re very proud that our schools have been consistently praised by Ofsted with sixteen successive good judgements and one outstanding judgement.
